Lego battleship bricks are made in very high temperatures and require the assistance of a lot of machines, rather than humans, for the creation process. In the manufacturing facilities, the ABS granules are vacuumed into different storage silos. Other items in these category are lego desert eagle and lego submarine items.
In most cases, a lego navy ship building blocks manufacturing plant has roughly 14 silos, with each silo holding 33 tons of ABS granules. Once the production process starts, the granules travel through the tubes and into the injection molding machine. The measurement of these machines is very accurate – as fine as 0.002-mm.
With temperatures reaching as high as 232-degrees C, the machines melt the granules and inject the melted ABS into the molds. All this work is done under 150-tons of pressure. After seven seconds, the pieces cool down and fall into the conveyor.
From the conveyor, the lego battleship pieces then fall into a bin. Once the bin gets filled, the machine will send a signal to a robot to pick it up and carry it to the assembly hall. On average, eight robots can efficiently carry 600 bins of bricks within an hour.
The lego warship bricks are stamped with the designs as soon as they enter the assembly hall. The components are assembled by applying the right amounts of pressure for each individual part. After these finishing touches, the bricks are packed and shipped away.
